We acquired our latest Morgan..... a 2007 Morgan 4/4 in Royal Ivory with green leather and green mohair hood.... in August 2025. I had been looking for some time for another Morgan and spotted this car for sale in Mathewsons "Bangers & Cash" auctions in Pickering, North Yorkshire. We were successful with our bid and we picked up the car on the 6th August 2025. Apart from the drive from Pickering to Chelmsford, the trip to Sidmouth was the first major foray.

23 Morgans were scheduled for the Sidmouth trip, and Simon had made all the arrangements for us to stay at the Hunters Moon Hotel.

We split the drive down into three segments with overnight stops in Newbury, to visit our son and granddaughter, and near Warminster, to visit friends. We did the journey back from Sidmouth to Chelmsford in one hop, taking about four and a half hours.
