Wednesday 3rd May 2006
Great weather. What a difference it makes when the sun is shining!
It was strange leaving Barton Turns Marina and turning left, as
most of our journeys have been up the Trent & Mersey northwards.
We were soon past Barton Turn Lock and on towards Branston and Burton,
where the smell of brewing permeated the air as we passed the huge
Coors brewery.
